Previews begin August 29th on Theatre Row for Strings Attached by Carole Buggé, directed by Alexa Kelly–– an exciting new American play which invites us into the world of physics aboard an unparalleled train ride!
Based on the real train journey of three physicists that took place in 1999, Strings Attached looks at life, love, and personal loss. It looks at faith, destiny, and who is controlling OUR strings? It makes us wonder if there is such a thing as parallel universes.

STRINGS ATTACHED can be appreciated on many levels, and intertwines several intriguing subplots:
It is at its base, the story of how three physicists, on a train ride, debated the merits of String Theory versus M Theory, and what they discovered about the Big Bang;
It is a personal story of grief and loss, and how one handles those major events in life;
It is a love triangle that challenges life-long friendships;
It is a story of how life offers us challenges and is not always smooth sailing, but we must cling tight and hang on to it’s rhythms, because ultimately the journey is always a good one;
It shows that we are ultimately in the hands of the “Gods”— in this case Physicists who came before our protagonists—Sir Isaac Newton, Max Planck, and Marie Curie. We are like flotsam and jetsam to them, and they ultimately can control and guide our lives. They are our mentors, and if we listen to them, we can be guided to a smoother, calmer and more satisfying life;
